Our service includes the following process:
- Pickup Tanks/Cylinder at your location and deliver to our facility in Valdosta, Georgia.
- Log in Cylinder by Customer, Load Number, Size, and Serial Number.
- Burn off vapor.
- Remove Valve and Inspect Inside of Cylinder.
- Perform DOT Certified Hydrostatic Test if Required.
- Shot Blast to remove paint, rust, and containments for thorough visual inspection and good paint adhesion.
- Visual Inspect Cylinder as per DOT regulations.
- Repair Collar or Foot ring if required.
- Burn holes in foot ring for Drainage.
- Prep for Painting including extra two-part epoxy primer in problem areas.
- Hang cylinder on automatic paint line.
- Paint cylinder or tank with two-part epoxy primer.
- Paint cylinder or tank with two-part urethane top coat (custom color available).
- Remove cylinder from paint line.
- Re-valve tank or cylinder (multiple valve choices available).
- Label cylinder with metal tag for easy identification of serial number and date.
- Vacuum purge.
- Final Inspect.
- Wrap in plastic netting to prevent damage during transit.
- Deliver completed product to your location.
